HTC has launched a new version of its innovative HTC Touch Cruise mobile phone. It is HTC’s first mobile phone that will offer the HTC Footprints application.
The new HTC Touch Cruise sports a 2.8 inch TFT LCD screen with QVGA resolution as well as the HTC TouchFLO feature. A 3.2 megapixel camera with fixed focus and video recording capability is also on board.
The HTC Footprint application has been integrated for the first time in a HTC branded device. It is a special application that acts as a digital postcard by allowing users to snap their special moments on the new HTC Touch Cruise phone. Users can also add their thoughts on the postcards captured. The Footprint application also auto names each postcard that the user captures with its location or area. With just a few clicks users will be able to retrace the exact location within minutes.
The new HTC Touch phone has been improved by integrating it with enhanced navigation applications. The navigation application provides turn by turn directions and changes the user interface into a one touch interface that will guide a user to locate the destination. The phone can also be placed on a car cradle.
In addition to this, the new HTC Touch Cruise is packed in with 512MB internal memory and supports an external memory card slot. It also offers a wide range of connectivity options like GPS, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. The HTC Cruise phone is powered by an 1100mAh battery that will provide a talktime of up to 400 minutes and a standby time of upto 2 weeks.
